Diagnostic Scan is an ability learned by the Operative and the Scoundrel. It restores a low amount of health over three seconds for no energy cost.
The primary purpose of Diagnostic Scan is to provide the Operative or Scoundrel with a small, free heal to be used whilst they wait for their Energy to restore to avoid reducing their Energy regeneration rate. When talented with Prognosis: Critical, each tick gains 24% additional chance to critically heal, and with Patient Studies, each critical heal restores 2 Energy, further reinforcing Diagnostic Scan's use as an ability to use whilst Energy restores.
