Victims of War is a level 6 mission available to players belonging to the Galactic Republic faction. It can be obtained on the planet Ord Mantell, within the walls of the Republic fortress known as Fort Garnik. This mission is begun by speaking to Lieutenant Xorem.

Background[edit | edit source]

When the bridge connecting it to the main island fell, many of the people remaining on Mannett Point found themselves cut off. Separatist forces gained control of the area, and many of those civilians that did not side with the occupiers had to remain hidden and unseen. Doctor Jaen Kett is one such individual, but his skills are needed at Fort Garnik.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Lieutenant Xorem wants the brilliant Doctor Jaen Kett rescued from the separatists in Mannett Point. You agreed to find the doctor so he can continue to aid the Republic effort.
~ Star Wars: The Old Republic, Victims of War mission description

Rewards[edit | edit source]

Notable quotes[edit | edit source]

Lots of good people got stuck in Mannett Point when the bridge went out. The separatists are trying to divide us. Divide and conquer, right? There was a doctor there--Jaen Kett. Brilliant medical man and staunch Republic supporter. Essential to our effort. We need someone with the know-how to find him.
~ Lieutenant Xorem

And besides, I can't leave the island. It's--it's the children. They need me. They're orphans, most of them. Their parents were killed during the fighting over Mannett Point. A few of them have family on the other side, but they're too young to swim that far. They all need food and medicine. I won't leave them here.
~ Jaen Kett
