Josra: from Josh Randall, bounty hunter in "Wanted: Dead or Alive" TV series which starred Steve McQueen. McQueen's character actually tried to take wanted men in alive. My character does not.
Rojavon: from Roj Blake and Kerr Avon, lead characters in "Blakes 7". I had no idea when I created him that Paul Darrow (Kerr Avon) actually voiced a character in the game (the Sith Warrior overseer).
Archanathena: combination of Arachnid (spider) and the greek goddess Athena
Dreanan a misspelling of Draenen (already taken apparently) which is Welsh for thorn. One of my Guild Wars 2 characters is Draén, another spelling of the same word.
Nashebo: I lifted this name from an episode of "Kung Fu". In that episode Nashebo was an American Indian
Xoanan: I borrowed this name from an episode of the original "Doctor Who" series, the Tom Baker era, as far as I am concerned he is still THE Doctor.
Silvary: I wanted Silvari but it was unavailable. I had to buy the Legacy unlock to get her species for Sith Warrior.
Qazari: A lot of pushing of the random name generator button since I had ran out of ideas for names
Aolani: its Hawaiian for "heavenly cloud", it was as close as I could get to "sky" as all the Hawaiian names for sky were unavailable
Casami: Again, a lot of pushing of the random name generator button since I had ran out of ideas for names
Misuteri: Japanese rendering of "mystery"
Nekokei: combined Japanese for "cat" (neko) and "lord" (kei)
Miyau: Hebrew version of the sound a cat makes when it talks
Pysco: she's pyscho
Yulyadya: from game's random name generator, nothing special
Sectine: character number sixteen. At the time I figured she was my last character. (Silly me)
Yosomono: from the Japanese for "stranger", closest I could come to Outlander
Kasei: from the Japanese for "force of flames", she's a red-head
Tai'kou: from the Japanese for "light pink" (Dark vs. Light)
Egreess: misspelling of "egress" meaning "exit" because she's a temporary character (Dark vs. Light)

Ramei: Japanese for lightning, a name I always use at some point in a online game
Adla: another random name
Sie'nna: from the color

Unowen: "unknown", I was having trouble coming up with a name that wasn't taken
Saburo: Japanese for third son, this character is my third male on The Harbinger server. Saburo was a character in the Japanese TV series "Jinzo Ningen Kikaida"
Cayuse: western slang for a wild horse
Cacao: plant from which coco beans come
Useikage: from the Japanese for "star" and "shadow" and since Japanese names are in the reverse order of American/European his name is Shadow Star
Koroshi: Japanese for "to kill".
Hakai: Japanese for "to destroy"
Purple Passion: he's purple (Dark vs. Light)
Blindman's Bluff: he's blind (sees through the force) (Dark vs. Light)

Saefron: variant of "Saffron" (which was unavailable)
Vénjanss: how to pronounce the word "vengeance" (which was unavailable)
Bijinda: Japanese for "beautiful woman" (also the name of a character in "Jinzo Ningen Kikaida")

Antohn: varriant of Anton (which was not avaialble)
Tokusatsu: Japanese for "special photography" its used to refer to Japanese science fiction TV series and movies
Dot'ty: my cat's name is Dotty (which was already taken)

Kaiketsu: old Japanese for "swift hero" the word was used in the title of two televsion series, "Kaiketsu Lion Maru" and "Kaiketsu Zubat". Lion Maru was a magical ninja.

Kuaka: my real first name translated into Hawaiian
