Scavenger Hunt is a level 5 mission available to players belonging to the Galactic Republic faction. It can be obtained on the planet Ord Mantell just outside the eastern wall of the Republic fortress known as Fort Garnik. This mission is begun by speaking to Alma, a refugee located in the camp along the road between Garnik and Talloran Village.

Background[]

When they were forced to flee their homes due to the war between the Republic and the separatists many residents of Talloran Village abandoned their most prized possessions. Alma, now a refugee living outside the walls of Fort Garnik, left behind her grandmother's necklace. She desires the item's return, but scavengers in the area have looted her home and stolen Alma's family heirloom. Also seeking the necklace is Ebenga, an Arcona working for the Republic that believes the item will reveal Alma to be an Imperial spy.

Notable quotes[]

This woman you have met, this woman called Alma is a spy, yes. We have been keeping both eyes on her."

"We are with the Republic. We are the ones who watch spies. But she watches for the others--for the Empire. They have both eyes on Ord Mantell--her eyes. Her heirloom is a communicator that looks like a necklace. A necklace that works like a communications device. She uses it to speak to the Empire.

~ Ebenga

Notes[]

If you turn the heirloom over to Ebenga, you will receive a mail from Harson Nild, who works for the Republic Strategic Information Service, titled "Lost" Communications Device and Credit 37 attached.

I understand you helped one of my operatives with a problem on Ord Mantell--an Imperial spy who was communicating with her superiors through a "family heirloom."

Ebenga says you performed "with dutiful competence and professionalism." High praise from him. We're learning valuable information from the spy, though I'm afraid the details are classified.

I think the Republic Strategic Information Service may find use for you again.''
