A flashpoint is an instanced scenario where the player character (and anyone grouped with the player) enter a crucial dialogue with NPCs. Flashpoints can affect storyline gameplay throughout the player's time playing the character. Decisions can increase a players Light Side Points or Dark Side Points depending on the decisions made during the flashpoint.
