Lieutenant Bendick is a male human Republic soldier encountered on Ord Mantell. Stationed at Fort Garnik, Bendick possesses information on the whereabouts of a pirate named Veem Set and has been tasked with sharing it with approved individuals by former governor Milo Phipps.[1]

Separatists have captured Veem Set, a Rodian pirate that was promised protection by the Galactic Republic in exchange for information that might lead to the end of the civil war on Ord Mantell. Lieutenant Bendick has been tasked with briefing select individuals selected by Milo Phipps so that they might rescue the pirate.[1]
