Hello and welcome to the WikiSWTOR community portal. WikiSWTOR is an independent wiki, that is to say run completely by volunteers working together to develop an informative and useful resource for the SWTOR community. Wiki structure allows for anyone to change and update existing content, create new articles and suggest changes that they would like to see. We need your help to improve the wiki with your knowledge!
Some Easy Steps
- First of all create an account with us that lets you keep track of your contributions.
- Check out our Contribute page with tips and tricks on how Wiki markup works, this is especially useful if you've helped out on wiki projects before.
- Then all you need to do is to click on the edit this page button at the top of any page to start editing!
- Important: When you've edited a page, or want to see what your work will look like before saving the page, make sure you click the Show Preview button at the bottom.
- If you have a question or a suggestion about a particular page, use the discussion tab to talk to others about it! Don't forget to sign your posts with ~~~~
- Look to the TODO section on the right to see what we're planning to do in the near future. See the Village Pump for general discussion on the site.
- And finally, feel free to find out more about wikis in general! (Wikipedia Tutorial and Wikipedia Syntax).

How You can Help
- Look at the wanted pages list and create article stubs with some information on the topic.
- Take a look at articles that are marked "stubs", and see if you can add more information!
- Check out the articles listed for a "cleanup". These articles are outdated or of otherwise poor quality and need correction.
- Integrate information from here into the various topics and FAQ section.
- PVP and PVE Portals!
- Flashpoints when we get more information about the various instances.
- Work on Lore-related articles, using the Lore portal page to link to them. Remember, SWTOR takes place just after the Treaty of Coruscant, so only lore prior to that date is relevant.
- Keep the Inhabitants page updated.
- Update the individual class ability pages with any new combos, spells or attacks gained from new videos of the game.
- Add codex entries.
- Keep existing articles & info up-to-date. If you come across anything contradicted by new information then please edit the page !
